CD-RW format??

Heard from my friends that there is a way to format a cd-rw to make it work like a zip disk... that mean there is no need to burn the data into the cd rw everytime... just have to drag and drop it into the cd...
But after doing the "special format", the capacity will drop slighty from lets say 700mb to around 560mb...
How true is that? Anyone out there know sometime like this?

Insert a CD-RW disc (cannot use CD-R disc) into the drive, open the application, then it will configure the disc to work like a large floppy disc. No more burning of data, a simple drag and drop will do.
