  spoke to this shanghi woman sometime ago, we were discussing ethics and using the headline news abt some china ger who was bilking her ex-husband(son of a wealthy tycoon) in court.
  
  slowly the subject drifted to housewives, she made a sacarstic comment.
  
  "singapore women dunno how to please a man they really take things for granted, whenever I pick my son up from school or leave the house even to go to the market. I always make sure I put on makeup & dress welll but when I look at my neighbours(housewives) they are all dressed very shabbily in shorts and t-shirts, I can never imagine going out dressed like that, no wonder many cases of singapore men lost interest in their wives"
