Hello from Canada and help on info about Singapore... Links?

  Hi all,
  
  I'm new to this forum here, having accidentally 'stumbled' on to this. I hail from Canada so I'm not too familiar with Singapore. However, this year I'll be coming to your country on an exchange. Being excited about this, I got on to the web and started searching for Singapore information and information and found this forum. After reading a few posts, I've decided... you guys are halirious (in a good way, of course).
  
  My parents are from Malaysia but immigrated here in Canada a while ago. However, I still smile when I hear what's now well-known to be "Singlish", I suppose - At the same time though, I do have troubles interpreting some of the words in this forum.
  
  I suppose "dun wurry" is meant to be "Don't worry".
  
  I'm hoping to look into all your expertise about your country- what is fun to do in Singapore, places to meet people, sight seeing etc? Do you have any personal links that you can pass on?

  Thanks for the link. Had a good look at it. It seems like Singapore looks to be a fun country to visit ! Any thing I should be wary of (besides chewing gum) as I hit the streets ???
  
  How's the night life / night scene in Singapore ? Any places I should be visiting ? Good club/pub/bar ?
