"If Sweet Dreams andd Turtle Soup, the first in the series of feature films from Raintree Pictures, is anything to go by, local films have come into their own. Using a simple and heartwarming story, the film managed to address many issues close to every Singaporean's heart such as the generation gap, academic Stress, superstition, friendship and slow HDB lifts. Xiang Yun and Stephanie Loh delivered convincing performances and, unlike so many other local actors, didn't have to overact to convey emotion. It was also a pleasant change to hear Singaporeans speak without fake accents.
By the way, she was on friday night's Wo Ai Wo Jia (I love my family), acted as a NKF Nurse.
