Engineer jailed for filming up girlÂ’s skirt
An engineer who filed up the skirt of a 16-year-old-girl, taking pictures of her undergarments with his cellphone, was jailed for three weeks yesterday.
Ng .. , 29, admitted intruding on the girl with the intention of insulting her modesty at Novena MRT station on June 1 last year.
The court heard that the incident happened when the girl, in a short skirt, was leaning against a glass panel in the train station after passing the gantry.
Ng approached her from the back and placed his Nokia cellphone under her skirt and recorded a video clip of her undergarments.
The station manager saw Ng squatting down to take the shots of the girlÂ’s undergarments.
Ng could have been jailed for up to a year or fined or both for the offence. -

We can be as advanced as the Swedish, whose Parliament has passed a law that makes looking up ladiesÂ’ skirts legal.

Should be like 1st time arrested and sent to police station... then sent home.
2nd time, fined $1000/-
3rd time fined $10,000/-
4th time then go to jail for 2 weeks.
If only he had gone to Geylang... can video tape with camera more interesting stuff (including) panties with just some money... Geylang too expensive can go JB.... take MRT and bus to JB. -
I think a jail term is appropriate for all sex offenders... in addition, repeat sex offenders should be made to undergo a compulsory chemical castration for a certain period of time after their release from prison, to prevent them from commiting sex crimes again, at least during that period. sending him to jail is what he deserved...i'll be willing to bet there won't be a repeat offense.

This is my concern. There is such a thing as "an eye for an eye" ; you do not cause more harm to drug addicts then the drugs itself. I do not see how jail time is what he deserves. now that i've thought about it a little more perhaps a jail sentence was a bit harsh. having his photo and name printed in the newspaper with an explanation of his offense may have been more appropriate...he was such a fan of photography i'm sure he'd appreciate the irony.

Dr Chua Hong Choon, a consultant psychiatrist from the Institute of Mental Health, said the condition is “characterized by repeated and intense sexual fantasies or behaviors concerning the act of watching an unsuspecting person who is naked, disrobed or having sex”, which has “clinically significant distress or impairment in work, social or personal functioning”.
It appears that there are many such “patients” looking at the amount of such photos being posted in the websites.
This serve as a warning to those who are “sick” to think twice before taking the adventure, as the punishment is very heavy.
