alfagal,
thanks very much. We've just gone to the Guardian at Suntec. That guy told me that they have it but it requires a prescription by a doctor, which I don't have.
However, he says if I am living the country within 24 hours, then he could sell it to me assuming that I could present a ticket and passport, which I do have since we're going to phukey monday. So I will go back to buy it tomorrow.
Can anyone tell me how this "after-morning-pill" work medically ? Is there anything my gf needs to be aware of ? is her "M" going to be delayed the following month or what ? I am not a medical student. thanks in advance...ptcm
i think in sg, they dun really have e so called morning after pill.
if i m not wrong they will prescribe 'postinor2'
a high dosage of hormone that prevents the embryo from implanting into the uterus, hence preventing pregnancy (same concept at EC).
common side effects: nausea, vomitting, dizziness, fatigue, disturbed bleeding, cramping.
her menses shld come on time. though some pple start some what earlier, others later.
not all pple suffer from e side effects. but this can only b taken not more than 4pills per mth, or her cycle will go off-timing. do note that this method of contraception has increasing rates of failure.
if her menses is one week late, then a pregnancy test is needed, or consult a medical professional.
no worries, i think more can b read from e label inside e box.
good luck
