There are Singaporean guys who are like that. You just have to state your expectations before them before you date them. And I guess if they really want to go out with you, then they'll make the effort to meet up to those expectations.
That said, there are other things which are also very important aside from these acts of chilvalry, one of which is honesty. It's important also that you understand if a guy cannot always send you home - although I admit that is important. Sometimes there are other commitments that he simply cannot get away from, such as the need to meet a client or (in the case of a student), the need to rush an assignment.
I suppose, while we as females can and do expect these standards, it's also vital that we understand that we cannot be over demanding of our males and above all, be understanding towards them. -
