Eye contact with gals

Anyone tried making eye contact(as in looking deep into her eyes for more than 1 sec,not a casual glaze) with gals on the streets before?
I tried that before.A few will give me the tao look.Some will give me a glance and look away.Some will look for more than a few secs and smile.

The tip is look into her pupils and glance intensely after 3-4 secs(provided she maintains eye contact with you),give her a slight nod and smile.
For my personal experience,I was sitting down at Macs with my kakis.Whoever going to order food need to walk past us.This gal went to order,we maintained eye contact for around 5 secs.When she got her food and turned around,she glanced at me then gave a slight nod before walking to her seat.Damm,she was with a guy(not bf though),if not mai tu liao!
