When you are out of luck and love after trying your very best to court a person, and turned to some people for advice, at most, they would usually tell you that 'maybe' she was not meant to be yours in the first place.
Is this fact equated to destiny? Or could destiny be changed in the first place?
How many of you out there, fellow Singaporeans, do believe that the phrase 'meant to be' is so true that it could be a philosophy of the majority's life, or is it just a statement used so commonly to console someone of their lost?

i thought it was once..
but no.. i don't believe in that anymore.. you are ultimately the master of your own fate, maker of your own destiny..
and if you are willing to work at your relationship, and so is your partner, i would think with enough love and effort, almost everything can be overcome.. and that is not due to fate but through effort..

90% is about you,10% is about the circumstances that you cannot do anything about, but somehow the 10% always seems so big..

It's how a man carries himself which in turn determines how much a woman is attracted to him.

Indeed, as for me, I would be more delighted to believe that we can change our own destiny, if there is one thing that we know the Almighty do gave us freewill.
This definitely means that we can alter the aspects of our life including our own relationship.
And true, sometimes, the 10% of fate do seem to play a bigger role in relationships.
Is there something else that we miss out that could be compounding the factors of our failed relationships?
It's quite hard and might as well be said, truely depressing to hear someone saying that if it's not meant to be, it's not meant to be...
Kind of taking out our ability in controlling our own life, and makes it hard the next time to go on, hence making our matchmaking life into statistics and percentages if you know what I mean. It's just like prior to starting a relationship, there is this calculation of risk on whether it will last or not.
