I take the train everyday, some guys do stand close to me ,i think because it is crowded. I never thought of me getting molested. I'll have to look out next time. Thanks donut duck for sharing... -

I never did find that courage to go ahead and touch or come in contact with a girl in the LRT (in Malaysia, the only state that possesses mass rapid transit is KL - STAR line, PUTRA line, KTM Kommuter etc.). For me, I don't think its right to judge what is right or what is wrong, but I do believe that attempts to come into contact with a stranger of the opposite sex in the MRT would yield anxiety and fear (of the response from the stranger), who wouldn't?
In the context of culture and society, this particular action is not encouraged and that particular 'right' and 'wrong' (insight) has been implanted into our minds from young and reinforced in schools and universities as Moral Ed. and Ethics.
To deviate a little bit, I read a little about psychology and would like to share it here, why we feel those fear and anxiety when we have the urge in our minds to come in contact with a stranger of the opposite sex. Our mind is compartmentalized into three subcategories, the id, ego and superego. The id is the primitive urge (sexuality and aggression) which over time becomes suppressed with superego (the moral and cultural backgrounds implanted by our teachers and parents) which yields the ego (our personality, our self and how we carry ourselves with others).
HOWEVER, if I am given the chance to be able to touch or come into contact with a girl I do not know, I will still not do it, as it would be socially unacceptable. -
Its the superego's action that suppresses and leads to anxiety when there is a confusion between the two (superego and id), hence leading the person to be in a state of mind of whether to carry out the action (their id's power) or to forget about it and walk away, but still regretting over time of not doing it (their superego's power). Sometimes the id wins, sometimes the superego wins, and well... this is just an explanation to why we have the fear (mind bogging) and excessive sweating and perspiration.
