A rhetorical statement would be is it in anyway better to educate or enlighten youngsters on the topic of sex right at an early age, say maybe in the range of 14-17?
Some may say no, since this will increase the incidence of curiousity and the sense of trying it out whenever they have the chance.
Some may say yes, since this will enlighten the youngsters that there is a price to pay if they have it in the wrong method, issues such as deadly infections would then be reduced if they take things the right way.
About the probable reason why people are having sex younger and younger, I think this is most likely due to the abrupt change to our biological growth. Puberty is often unheard of in earlier years at the age of 12, but now, the youngest ever recorded to reach puberty was 7, and beyond that, premature puberty. The average would be between 9-12 for girls and 10-14 for guys. With puberty knocking at the door, there would be excessive sexual hormones flowing through the bloodstream which often confuses an individual in their sexual urges, hence the troubled psychological aspect during the ages of 10-19.
This is the scientific research, but it may not apply to other communities, yet it is a point to consider.
