What do you think about western man?

First of all, this forum rocks. It is really interesting to read and quite different to many other forums I have read.
Anyway I would be interested how sggirls think about man from europe and what the general opinion about these people is. Are there any special nicknames for these kind of western people? Are western people known to be very outgoing or for some other character attribute?
Just tell me how western man are perceived in singapore.

P.S. if anyone knows a good topic for a documentary about something in singapore let me know. at the moment i think about making a documentation about ah beng and ah lians or something like that. -

its not about me its about western man in general. i know that everyone will be judged different but for example in europe if you think about japanese you think about photocameras, if you think about english people you think about white drunken people, if you think about german people you think about soccer fans and so on.
thats me but as i said its not about me!

my opinion:
germans are more straightforward, quite hardworking, quiet sort. But they love their beer, sausage and suarkraut. germans are always associated with technology and cars. A very technology orient race, where you seek performance, perfection and engineering. The language itself like Japanese is more geared towards science, precision, maths and technology vs French/Spanis where they talk predominantly about emotions. Or the hollanders who just piss me all the time. Famous brands from germany: Mercs, BMWs, Audi etc.
But germans love their natural world and enjoys their natural parks, forest and etc. Somehow the germans have managed to keep their old traditions like the funny clothes the farmers still wear. Or the beer gartens, or the funny things like sitting on a bench and pouring beer on pants and see the beer freezes and stick the pants to the bench. Germans do have fun and oh, octoberfest is coming.
All people are a bit racist, but I believe due to the history, the germans are more aware and sensitive toward overt displays of dislike for other races whereas there is outright snarling from austrian, french or even the stiff english at times. Anyways, there are some close values system between the germans and chinese although, its not very obvious. Such as the views on family.
But every place, state, town or even village, the people will be different . Its just a generalization ... Don't take it too hard.

When I think of Germany and her people, the first thing that comes to mind is precision engineering and safe workplaces.
Not to mention the liberal usage of steel and glass in the newly revitalised towns of Leipzig and Rostock..am I right? -

yep im german but because im a photographer / designer i travel all around the world and live at the moment in australia.
so what do western people think of asian people:
first of all asian people smile way more than european or western people in general. even though this seems to be part of their culture and the smile doesnt have to be a reaction to something.
asian people appear in groups. this is what you always see in europe when you see the buses of travel groups arriving. probably people from other countries do that as well but they are not recognized as a group.
asian people are friendly. they are polite and do not forget themself (freak out) as fast as western people.
asian people are more open to sexuality because they were not under the heavy influence of the christian church. (singapore seems to be an exception)
asian people live more in the present while western people sometimes forget to enjoy the present because they are too busy planing the future.
asian people have a lot of discipline. they are excellent workers.
these are common thoughts of people in europe about asian people in general. my personal opinion is that i just like the asian culture way more than the western culture.
in general the perception of asian people for what is considered aesthetic is more like my own. asian art is in many aspects different from western art and i like it in many ways much more. sexuality and fetishes are seen as something more normal and casual (it seems not in singapore). most asian girls i have met in the past have a more interesting character than western girls. (i just might see it this way because i grew up with western girls) well and to be honest... most asian girls i met are very cute. and to be cute not only the look has to be like that but also the character and in that matter most asian girls i met were great. (some very cute western girls look cute but they dont act cute)

I guess there's cultureal differences that can account of the behaviour differences. The environment here and the scenery is vastly different therefore, the pictures you see are different. In the art forms of the west, you see a lot more vibrant colors, a lot more people, expression and such. In eastern arts, its mostly more on plants, people in their daily lives, abstracts, colors are subdued.
One thing about west and east is the cultural context and the level of communication and little things.. ie the subtle way eastern people do things or communicate. But I know singaporeans are losing their heritage, values and culture with Mc-culture.
I had a old (literally) friend in Munich, and he takes photos too. I recall back then his pictures were put up in the Post Office. I think he's still taking pictures and he owe me one...
Photodocumentary... Is there such a thing as good or no good?
Its just is. Start one with your pics ... Perhaps there's a theme or some common threads of the pictures. But its just your personal expression to capture the pictures in that instant and present in the manner you see most fitting.

Well,I did Geography at A-levels, and one area of specialisation was Transport Geography of Europe and I used Germany as a case study on transport planning and how they affect oil and gas resource movements. -
