2. Standard Chartered
It has the Standard Chartered Study Loan, which provides loans ranging from $5,000 to $100,000 for full-time or part-time study at local or overseas universities or polytechnics. To qualify, you have to earn $30,000 or more per annum . Alternatively, you can apply for this loan jointly with your parent or guardian who must have an annual income of $30,000 and above. 3. HongKong Bank
Provides a Local Education Loan which provides $5,000 to $50,000 depending on the level of need. The Overseas Education Loan provides $10,000 to $100,000 repayable over a period of 1 to 10 years. To qualify for this scheme, you have to be a Singapore citizen or Permanent Resident. The criteria varies for students who are under 21 years and for students who are 21 years and above. 4. OCBC Bank
As a full-time student of any of the local tertiary institutions, you can apply for Student Loans and Overdraft Facilities at any of the OCBC participating branches.
