Anyone works here?
Or Mustafa? Where do they import their goods from, they are able to sell it at such low prices...
Just wondering if their food is the same as NTUC/SS...
Is it safe to consume?
Nobody knows??

Of course safe la. We have government agencies like AVA and NEA to make sure that the food is safe to consume.
As for the products, there are some variations. Valu$ is more of snacks and simple household products. NTUC, SS, Giant, Prime got more variety.
Whereas for Mustafa, I do not know why people say their products are cheap. I think it's because they carry foreign brands, that's why people go to Mustafa.
all come from the same manufacturer
but different packaging to be sold in different countries
order in bulk, ship in bulk
economies of scale
tts why can be cheap

If you say so, why are we still hearing food poisoning of students consuming canteen food... then Geylang Serai food poisoning shouldnt exist also since it is regulated by gov..

But in terms of bulk, is definitely NTUC Fair Price.. Why dont they adapt the lower selling price to gain more customers? Their price difference can be 30-60% or even 100% sometimes.. The reason must not be so simple.. just order in bulk, pay cash, ship in bulk, employ less and cheaper worker, cut cost, less air-con... price difference is too huge.. and they are making money.. (I assumed, because they are opening more outlets..)
have u tried stepping into FP on a weekday evening or weekends?
and oh, do u know u can order online and they deliver?
it's not a price fight but offering a different supermarketing experience and variety of products and services
and your one-off cases are soooooo convincing...........
thanks for the tips
Singapore NEA is very strict no worries
.
