Facebook keep asking for my authentic name

  Anyone encounter this problem with Facebook ? I cannot log in anymore. It keep asking me for my authentic name ! I have been using my pinyin name, isn't that 'authentic' enough ? And when I change my name, it say will look into it and get back to me ! What is happening ? I can't even log into MY OWN facebook account and they need to 'look into it' ? How do they know whether the next name I put in is authentic or not ?! What is happening ?

  Google, facebook and yahoo all same.   They love generate problems for users..

  Yahoo feel like will put a stop to access email account.  Google is also one kind,  they are like pest.   Facebook lousy .....

  Worse come to worst,  you would like to create new account.   You can write email tell them the problem.

  Thanks for the replies. Been trying to send emails to them. Got replies from them but problem not solved. They need government ID to verify. What the hell. So what about people who use nicks ? Don't feel comfortable showing my real name cannot meh ? So even if I can get back my account, maybe I will just delete the account liao after transferring all my photos out. haizz.. I have always thought FB is a RELIABLE place to store my photos but now not anymore. It is nonsense !

  Oh btw, my photos are not nude whatsoever, they are just sceneries and fun photos that is all.

  By right this kind of situation should not happen because mainland Chinese also provide their pin-yin names.  

  So only possibility is Singapore government is conspiring with Facebook to find out who is posting what as a special rich corporate customer who provides lots of cash money.

  It must be IP address detected as originated from Singapore but no such Singaporean  found in the "names" database.

  Did they provide you a reason why they need your govenment ID?

  I didn't realised we need our official documents to create a FB account. There's lots of FB account out there with lots of funny names too.

  they need government ID because they want to make sure your account hadn't been stolen by an impostor.

   

  also, the worst part is that there is nobody who can be directly contacted via email. Everything also must fill up feedback form.
