I have come to know how important my ‘O’ levels, ‘A’ levels and National Service Certificate are. In a recent application for a job at a local school meant for autism students was asked for the following:
*We would appreciate it if you could bring along the original and photocopies of the following:
1. NRIC
2. Major Educational certificates including your ‘O’ levels, ‘A’ levels, Diploma
and/or Degree certificates and Results transcripts.
3. Work testimonials, if applicable.
4. National Service Certificate
5. Your Curriculum Vitae
My ‘O’ levels level certificate dates back to 41 years. NS completion 38 years. Luckily I still have them. I was given test to do before the 1 hour interview. It was then I wondered if I have some problem! Maybe am autistic or have lazy eyes. Am sure must have failed the test after having looked at the zig-zag drawings. What I have to say is do treasure all your certificates. In life you will not know when you need it! Many of us I know our Marriage Certificate we will treasure!
