Hi,if i post a normal, regular mail locally on Wednesday afternoon about 2pm,may I know when will the recipient(local) receive it latest? Assuming there are no public holidays in that week or next week. Thanks.
It should arrive the very next day. (I usually receive mail the very next WORKING day if it was sent before 5pm the day before). However, if they choose to be lazy and inefficient, they will provide an excuse such as "According to the policy, it will be within 3-5 working days" or whatever is their time period.
Thu or Fri.
but now they r so fu*ked up, it may not even arrive. at all.
if u complain, they will just tell u pay more for registered mail, to be safe.
I am not sure what is normal, sending a mail by post is not normal these days, with sms, whatsapp, skype.....
but when i sent greeting cards, birthday cards, christmas cards, ...sent before 5 pm, the other sides received the next day, or when they open their letter boxes, so far so good, not sure if I want to continue to count on the service of regular post, because that is not their main business anymore.
hanor hanor
they rather sell nokia handphones, SD cards and loans to you than deliver letters and packages
Public service in sg now turn profit making.
