Why is it our fault? so what if we are not forgiving?

If you have adopted the wise advise of Great CEO Saw a.k.a cleo-prata on taking the next train, we should not be in such a state now.
So, it is your kia-suism that causing the world class transport system to fail.
Do you know how expensive cable ties are ????
This post is so unsightly.
1) Overloading the train doesn't necessarily cause mroe
vibration. In Physics, Newton's first law would tell you that a mass at
rest would be reluctant to move. It is the bums caused by the track or
the train that results the dislodging.
2) Do you know what is cable ties are?!!?? Expensive? God, you make diarrhoea in the mouth not hard to imagine. Please consult google before you embarrass yourself again.

And before someone comments on how SMRT uses such cheap objects that could be the cause of all the problems. Note, cable ties are highly durable and heat resistant.
Sidetrack a little... to draw a simple reference, duct tape is used in aircrafts to seal small holes and the aircraft can continue to fly safely.

Of course this christmas, we can forgive SMRT, and seeking forgiveness do come with a price, why not SMRT give free rides to all commuters this coming christmas day to show their sincerity in seeking forgiveness.

No need free ride lah, just credit $50 back into ezlink card and that would appease most commuters.

You prefer free rides for one day or an outright $50 credit to your ez link card?
Free rides on SMRT network, minus taxis over the christmas, and xmas eve weekend!

Waste bandwidth writing rubbish to show off!
I am just surprised that some one have taken the crap that I have written seriously.
Take my comment with lot of vinegar.
Learn to understand and appreciate crap, man from blue force.
The cable tie is a temporary quick fix as mentioned by LTA.
As for duct tape, it is also a temporary fix.

On a serious note, how strong are the plastic cables as compared to the metal pieces that they are holding together?
With all the friction and heat in the tunnel, can those cables last?

what do you think the kar-kia will use?
as if the kar-kia want to spend so much time to think up this bullshit which they will never get credit for?
why do you think all the statements about crime or anything like that ends with "... the Ministry takes a serious view of <insert crime>"

Cable tie, as the name implies, is used to secure cable together.
It is never intended to secure metal clamp to metal support permanently.
I do not know how the clamp is secured to the metal support.
Either repair or complete replacement of the clamp and support assembly is required.

That one is epic.
But if they operated for 18 or 24 hours a day, they would have to outsource to another country.
Cheaper better faster.
