  but it's true all. most of the dragonboat-ers treat their paddles like gems. lol a little scratch here and there they will make lots of noise.

  ah, but paddles and fins work the same way, if you think about it. I don't think scratches on either will degrade performance.

  yea i agree.  just like soccer players. if u have skills, even if u dont have the best equipment, u will still be skillful in just school shoes. but if u have no skills at all, even if u are fully clad with nike or adidas gears, it's still the same story.
