He wants users to have integrity, care, responsibility and blah blah blah when wwe use internet. Hahahah. He does not even practise these he want these from us ......... hahHahahah. It would be no sence to say that Singaporean are rich people. Like most of developed countries, the gap between the 1% richest people and the rest of the population increasing year after year. I was very surprised by the social inequalities... Indians work hard in construction sector or repairing roads, malays poor women are hired by rich families to take of their children... These contrasts inside the singaporean society are quite surprising for a foreign point of view. After the riots in Little India, most of the newspapers have charged the alcohol... but very few talked about the frustration of these workers... I don't know... I'm not there since a long time... and this state of inequality is really the same in every modern society... I don't think that it's specific to Singapore

Have. Starhub cable local commercial. Even on controlled media TODAY there was ad to ask for ppl to sign up pledge not to post blah blah on the internet.

Sorry for the late reply, hope you are still active in sg forum. The foreign Indian construction workers are actually quite happy with the income they received while working in Singapore. But there are quite many cases whereby many of the local construction companies or the sub-construction companies that cheated the foreign Indian construction workers on their salaries (in many cases they are not even paid when their employers closed the company or runaway) or delayed their monthly salaries that is due to them or abuse them on the minimum work hours and intimidated them usually by threat of terminating the employment contract and send them -back to their own country. .This does not only happen to the Indian construction workers only but to other national foreign workers in the construction industry and in other industries too. The main reason they are afraid to report to MOM is due to this threat upon them by their employers in Singapore. About the Malay maid you said, they are not Malays but Indonesian maids from various parts of Indonesia. Economic slavery do exist in Singapore, the most expensive city in the world, within the local workforce and foreign workforce.and the Singapore government just refuse to accept that fact. -
