News articles are routinely posted here on sgforums on a daily basis. I don't know how many unique visitors we get each month, but 50,000 seems quite plausible (Jason.... any comments?)
So...... sgforums.com will fall under these rules?

after this ruling, most like only the government control forum will continue to exist as they are the few that can pay of the bond of 50K. Thus the elites can monitor all the posting by the lesser mortals.

Doesn't matter, PAP will still lose big in 2016, like BN in Malaysia.
Suppress or don't suppress online media, PAP will still lose votes in 2016. This is a trend that cannot be changed.

It is not explicitly stated in the linked article, but my assumption is that the new licensing requirement applies to locally hosted websites. sgForums, to the best of my knowledge, is hosted overseas.

Same sentiments, i was thinking: does sgf falls under their categories? somehow, in a way, it seems to be an attempt to stifle voices that proposes or calls for meaningful changes. something distantly similar to media suppression. i suppose u people the drift...... look what happened to BN. They got trashed and ridiculed, especially Najib.
