PUB video teaches Singaporeans how to shower
It's been busy at work, it's been busy at school,
your body is sticky and needs water to cool,
a five-minute shower is all you need,
so let's all dance to a shower beat... YEAH!
And so goes the Public Utilities Board's new video on getting Singaporeans to shower in less than five minutes.That's not all though -- it's got a sing-along hand-motion dance to go along.
"Do like that, do like that" the video goes as its main characters -- a student, housewife, taxi driver and hawker auntie -- move their hands uncontrollably in a handwashing motion along to the cry of "Shampoo your hair, shampoo your hair!"
And then the chorus, all set to a pulsating techno beat (all together now!).

We do it so right when we keep it to fiveThe main message for those who haven't figured it out: save water and shower in less than five minutes. Yup we get it.
The 3:30-minute video, which was uploaded over a month ago, has received 4,000 views to date.
Besides announcing to the world that Singaporeans are a dirty lot and need help cleaning up, it's not the smartest commercial ever made. (Oh, and did you spot the creepy Water Wally mascot stalking the naked boy showering?)
Maybe the makers of the "Water Wally Shower Dance Music Video" can take a leaf from the hilarious "massage uncle" ads -- now that's an example of a clever message that went viral.

i can run gush the tap 5 mins, or take a 30 min shower bath turning on the tap to wet and rinse myself when required in the 30 min duration.
so this video again is varey vague and misleading!
who approved and even gahmen sing along. like that also can?!
as for bill, as long as the rates per cubmeter is constistant, wate rpart of the bill will not increase. tax also remain constant, water portion also will not increase. if you use more, of course water portion of the bill will increase.

5 mins ask people pangsai in the toilet also not enuff time. not all pap followers are intelligent you know. they only know see pinky appear in piblic wave and scream like kpop fan only.
wanna teach people to save water you have to shoot videos to show how to read the bills, details on rates, usage and taxes. show people how big is 1 cubicmeter tank size of water in 3D and show people the cost we pay for 1 cubicmetre of water.
show us water treatment plants and where we get our water sources, reservoirs treatment plants water catchment areas.
when people udnerstand the theory and visuly how scarce water is, it will have a better effect to moe tthem arses to save water.
instead of making one silly video with bollywood dancing and a 5mins mandate that pangsai also no time in toilet!

I think saving money is utmost important than saving water. Just stop paying a group of useless bums millions and millions for their salary we can save a lot, save tons of money.
