The first outbreak of SARS in Singapore was 6 March 2003. 3 Singaporeans tourists contacted SARS in HongKong and soon an outbreak of SARS in Singapore spreading to 238 peoples of whom 33 died. Among them were some medical staff who contacted them from the patients.
This was the period where we seen Singaporeans fighting SARS as one.
Let me take this opportunity to salute the staffs who fought bravely to beat SARS in Singapore.
