second generations ones are good. but i feel usually the loyallty will cume when the first generations are gone, the second generations's offsprings when all in the family are singaporens better. i still feel they should serve but looking at their IC nationallity status i dont trust them to be in our amred forces - really.kicking them out if they show signs of disloyalty will be good. but dont be in a haste to do so. we must also take back those privileges when they do leave. all those baby bonuses, sale from flats and properties gettign large amounts of profilts, utilities rebates and other traceable ones. we have to count it dollars by dollars. if not they cum and emjoy all these, then just leave. laffing all the way to the bank!

I am a foreigner (from Africa) and this is outrageous. Its like as though you go overseas to study for a 5 years and you are getting ridiculously taxed just because you aren't a citizen.

Not outrageous, some other countries do impose special tax on foreigner, been there and pay it for me too. -
