Man arrested for slashing wife and brother-in-law

SINGAPORE: A man has been arrested for allegedly breaking into a house and slashing his wife and brother-in-law.
The incident happened at about 6am on Saturday.
Police had received a call about a man breaking into an HDB flat in Yishun estate.
It was alleged that the 42-year-old suspect had also used a knife to slash both his wife and brother-in-law.
The man fled the scene after the assault, leaving behind the knife.
Officers arrested the suspect about 18 hours later in the vicinity of Telok Blangah.
A man will be charged in court on Monday.
