China woman charged with kicking police

  SINGAPORE: A 22-year-old woman from China was charged on Monday with kicking a female police officer.
  
  Chen Li Ying is accused of kicking Sergeant Chan Min Ghee in the thigh.
  
  The alleged offence took place on October 21 at 2.15am along Pearl's Hill Terrace.
  
  The slim and long-haired Chen was accompanied by a lady in court.
  
  Chen is currently on bail and her case will be mentioned again on November 19.
  
  If found guilty, she faces up to seven years' jail and a fine.

  dare to kick law enforcers is really a bold act. was she some S-pass holder or people on social visit or tourist? do this in malaysia, indonesia and US see how you get from the police. they will by the so called law vested in them, retaliate by reason of self defence and beat the cheena up.

And if he committed such crime after he hold his PR, should he not be deport and revoke his PR, afterall this is what most countries practice. Plus not too mention that our prime minister once mention that sg is very tight on the people they issue PR/new citizens, and only the best will be approval. So is our prime minister claim that this is the type of best "people" they approval?

  This guy have criminal record and most of this are serious crime. Who the hell approval his PR? And if he committed such crime after he hold his PR, should he not be deport and revoke his PR, afterall this is what most countries practice. Plus not too mention that our prime minister once mention that sg is very tight on the people they issue PR/new citizens, and only the best will be approval.   oh dear this looks bad! can say that MOM and immigrationn police is virtually blind to who cums into and get employment passes approved or PR approved? do we work with interpol on criminal information sharing? oh dear this looks bad - see how desperate we are with our open arse policies that we actually let criminals in!

  That my point, either our government is liar when they mention that they check through all PR cases and only ensure the best was approval, or someone in the ground is not doing their jobs. Recall the recent case when corrupted china offical was given PR (according to law china offical is not allow to get overseas PR), and then the group of Ang Moh that hantam some local had was charge in court when one of them was given PR while he is being charge and manage to escape overseas. All this cases kept me I wonder did our ICA do a background check before they issue PR.
