SR Nathan and George Yeo appointed Eurasian Association patrons
Mr SR Nathan and Mr George Yeo have been appointed as patrons of The Eurasian Association (EA).
A patron is an honorary position who provides financial support and other support towards a cause or in an organisation.
The appointment ceremony will be held on Oct 17, 2012 at the Eurasian Community House.
Mr SR Nathan and Mr George Yeo will join Mr Herman Hochstadt, who was the first Patron of the Eurasian Association as patrons.
Mr SR Nathan has supported the Association in many ways, attending dinner functions with Mrs Nathan every year at the EA and donating generously to the EA's educational and welfare programmes.
Prior to this appointment, Mr George Yeo served the Eurasian community as the Minister Representing the Eurasians in Cabinet for almost two decades.
