  Singapore cannot afford and not ready to have a ageing population.

  To keep and maintain its economy prowess, it needs younger workforce.

  whether it is 6 or 7 mil, the shift is towards larger proportion of foreign talent,

  with the decline in birthrate.

  So, there is no control on allowing younger workforce.

  The shift of the future is Singapore will become a rojak nations with various foreigners and local as minority.

  Agreed that Singapore cannot have aging population, which is a global problem, but it also cannot handle overpopulation without sufficient space.

  why need to give free citizenship wen u can just give employment pass?

  no wonder our population aging, no jobs for locals, wages and salaries pushed low, our people are a rojak.
