Singaporeans need to take a walk at Sugei Buloh Park to see how a monitor lizard looks like
That's a common Malayan Monitor Lizard and nothing newsworthy

I seen monitor lizard at the alexandra canal b4. After a heavy raining spell, the canal overflooded and the lizard appeared from its hideout.
The one I saw was about the size of a cat.
They look fearsome but they are harmless - dont attack human.
If anyone of you ppl see them, pls dont harm them. They help to keep our canals, drains free from rats - or at least keep the rat population under control.

Times are bad when this is regarded as newsworthy.
why not more news on the hougang by elections?
20 years one by elections, I expect more coverage.
state media seems extremely reluctant to cover any news on this by elections.
don't like that leh, PAP win or lose just cover lah. How many by elections can one witness in Singapore?
the "silent is golden" party.
Despise elections to the core, this PAP.
Anyway, my view of Hougang by elections is that PAP will lose. There is no way that PAP can win. Hougang people are politicised, they are not like other areas of Singapore, depoliticised.
Please send the guy who say it is a crocodile to the crocodile farm along serangoon road to show him what is the REAL THING>
