Hi guys, I just wrote a casual article about things which make Singapore interesting... I was wondering if I could get some feedback, from Singaporean perspectives.

Is this dubbing a big issue in SG ? I wasn't aware of it...

Quite boring the article similar to mainstream media reporting.
Ahh, I'm still working on the kinks, but thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it.

Sg is more than a lot of what you mentioned, you have to dig deeper and understand more to write a good article about interesting. The past history is colourful too.

The ban on dialects in state media should be lifted. The ban is a biased and irrational policy, it is wrong and should be rejected.
Maybe this can be implemented after Harry Lee Kuan Yew is dead. He is still afraid of the dialect chinese, still feels insecure, still wants to pose as a fake chinese to suppress chinese, still don't dare to say he is peranakan.
Chinese and other local cultures have all weakened under that anglophile bastard Harry Lee Kuan Yew's rule. This is wrong and all of Lee Kuan Yew cultural and educational policies must all be reversed after Lee Kuan Yew is dead.
I don't think Lee Kuan Yew's policies can last after his death.
After he dies, all will change.

Thanks. The problem is, I don't write anything too specific and detailed to make it interesting. Hmm... never mind, I'll find a way.
I think singapore is too small. :/
Napoleon is never too small for France...in fact, the whole of Europe..

Agreed. However, a smaller country and population means that development would become easier and more controlled. For example, all three Baltic states, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia went from 3rd world to first world in less than 20 years since independence. They're all small countries with small populations.
There are many plus points living in a small country. It's not always about the size.

Hitler, Stalin, Genghis Khan, they're all the same. Greedy b8st*rds.

The non-admittance of Peranakan language as a standard language or official language language of Singapore is to be grieved. The Peranakan language is truly the indigenous language of Singapore (and Malacca, 2 places out of the world).

The three baltic states are among the poorer states in the world.

??? I'm sorry, but there must be some misunderstanding here.
Latvia ( GDP PPP pc ) Intl $15,448, population 2.1 million
Lithuania ( GDP PPP pc ) Intl $18,769, population 3.2 million
Estonia ( GDP PPP pc ) Intl $20,182, population 1.3 million
Singapore ( GDP PPP pc ) Intl $59,936, population 5.2 million
Hong Kong SAR ( GDP PPP pc ) Intl $49,342, population 7.1 million
Latvia and Lithuania only graduated to first world status ( developed country ) in 2011. Estonia graduated a few years back. Singapore and Hong Kong graduated in the 1990s if I am not mistaken.
Their GDP PPP pc may not be as high as SG and HK because of 1] smaller populations than SG and HK ( this is a double edged sword ) and 2] They've yet to mature as fully developed countries. They've all graduated to developed status within the last 5 years only.
As far as I'm concerned, the Baltic states are far from poor, but also far from rich. A country need not be rich to be developed, and vice versa. For example, Brunei is a first world country, but they're not even as developed as the Phillipines or Indonesia in terms of infrastructure, probably due to their small population size. However, the Baltic states suffer from severe brain drain, and will probably never develop to their full petential in the near future.

Baltic states as first world sounds odd to me.
