its not rocket science. Far East wants to earn money and they have the cash to do it. how much does far east capture the market in spore? 60% at least?

if your fellow resident want to enbloc, you also lan lan have to enbloc along with them.
If government want your land to build expressways, you also lan lan have to kowtow to them and move out.
how many people actually managed to stay in the same unit until their lease runs out? And what happens after your lease runs out? Do you become homeless?

its a free market. if Far East is willing to absorb the cost what can the govt do?
increase again and everyone will complain even more.

The developers would find ways to clear the condo units one...
But if they begin to try reinburse and offer vouchers, it tells something alrdy.

I still think property prices will not drop.
The backlog demand is so bad that it will take 5 years to clear.
By that time, another 1 million new residents would have arrived and the whole crunch starts again.
