In my days, we were told to have a locker, but most of us never bothered. We just stuff our things below the desk and go home.
life was much simpler years ago.

Now now, not everyone can afford maids right ? Maybe some day in the future... and yeah, they'd better be robot maids too... I'm not comfortable around human maids... just saying.

I had one of these when I was in primary school... then I realized that I had to carry it up two flights of stairs everyday.... FAIL.
sometimes I see kids lugging those heavy school bags, really feel for them
life... sigh

That's nothing. I can't tell you how many times I found chewing gum under my table. Ahh the good ol' days.

do they still put their books under the desk when they go home
But even if they buy the iPad, they would still need to buy the online textbooks right. Isn't that even more expensive? Well unless they got some promo bundle~ haha

School will absorb part of the textbook cost.
really ah? that's good. if not its v tough on low income family~
Come to think of it, who here divides/tear/seperate each subject books into different chapters during secondary school???
More often then not, secondary school students will have much lighter bags, despite having more subject than primary school kids...
True true. Honestly JC is the best. Cos only bring papers and notes. haha

Instead of the usual $50+ textbook fee, when the electronic textbook come out, students may only pay $10 to $15 for all textbooks.
Physical assessments book have to purchase separately, but I heard SAP, marshall and other publisher is considering the idea of turning their resources into electronic for students in Singapore. Of course, it would be only available through school for their students and not for commercial public sales.

lol.. better than carrying it all the way ma...ha ha
suspects i could be 1.8 metres if the damn schools had not made us carry so much books in a bag.and all my high grade bags only lasted 8mths befoire the bottom fell off!
rthen when u want to lighten the school bag u need to pack it everyday and themn if u forgot to bring a book once...u get detention or stand outside classroom!spore classrooms in primary school was simply hell!
actually the schools are to be blamed.....schools could stock like 15 same textbook ina class!!!even if 10 students forget they can still share school supplied textbooks in class instead of making us end up shorter!

Isit? I see. But I think this kind of learning may not be suitable for all. Some people are still use to paper and pen. iPad and these sort of technology are afterall straining on the eyes~
