SINGAPORE: Relatives
and friends paid their respects on Saturday afternoon to Alice Goh, the
late former deputy prime minister Goh Keng Swee's first wife.
One of them was President Tony Tan Keng Yam who was accompanied by his wife.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday night at Mount Vernon Sanctuary in Cherish Hall.
Mrs Goh died on Friday at the age of 86, reportedly from kidney failure.
She is survived by her son and two grandsons.

Despite Dr Goh being a brilliant leader, respect and admiration for him by those in the older generation, are somewhat scarred, by his eventual divorce of this lady, for someone incomparable.
