I TRAVEL often and am worried that my lifetime membership with California Fitness will be revoked too if I fail to pay the $8 administration fee on time ('Banned over late $8 fee'; yesterday).
Currently, members must pay the fee yearly, three months before the deadline.
Since members have signed up for lifetime memberships by paying $3,000 in advance, the club should allow loyal members to pay the fee, say five years in advance. This will cut down on paper work as well as reminders.
The club spent so much money on advertising and sales efforts in getting people to part with their hard-earned money to become members, and yet throws them out because of a failure to pay $8 yearly on time. Ironic, isn't it?

California Fitness? Pfft.
I've blacklisted them after getting all sorts of unsolicited phone calls from them.
Save money. Just use SSC's ClubFITT public gyms.
My friend just cancelled it.
Being pastering by the fittness trainer to sign up with them till he gone crazy!
Use the fitness corner in HDB estates and parks, they are free, and under utilised.
