85 Paya Lebar Methodist Girls' pupils hit by stomach virus last week, but none hospitalised

IN YET another suspected case of mass food poisoning in Singapore
schools, 85 pupils from Paya Lebar Methodist Girls' Primary School were
hit by gastroenteritis, or stomach virus, on Thursday last week.
They experienced symptoms ranging from nausea and abdominal pain to fever and vomiting.
Most of them took one or two days of medical leave. None was hospitalised, and most had returned to school by Monday.
