IT APPEARS that rats are making nests in Pasir Ris Drive 6. They are moving around Blocks 441, 442, 443 and 444, where shops, a wet market and a non-air-conditioned foodcourt are located.
They can be spotted searching for food in the wet market at Block 441. I reported the matter more than 10 days ago to the Environment Ministry, and received a response last weekend asking for the same details I had already provided.
On Monday, at about 6.30am, I spotted rats searching for food at the foodcourt at Block 444. Again, I reported the matter to the ministry.
Why does it take so long for action to be taken? I do not want to see my estate overrun by rats.

when the place is getting urbanised and clean, rats would start ensuring their survival at those places where there's food like market or food court.

Terrorists can catch them and research on rats for biological weapons then poison the HDB water tanks.
rats not good enough
must make cats become carriers of additional viruses & bacteria
best will be Ebola & Marburg
