I feel like a slave in Singapore
Singapore is one of the least corrupt countries in the world.
singapore corruption government getting highest salary, and we work like slave to pay them.
Anyone haf thoughts of my question..we work like slave in singapore which the money we earn we can live like a king in another country.
Check out the cost of living in Singapore.
But with my past experience I put Singapore government no better than Iraq ... Are you a free man with choice? or you chose to be a slave?
And super hard to find job.

SUPER HARD TO FIND GREEN !God bless Singapore. Already with Singaporean living a stressful life with lower income, higher living expenses and taxes, ever increasing property prices and housing loan, I fear we will end up like a third world citizen living in a first world country. This Singapore is increasing diff from the one I recognise and feel proud to live in the past.
Any one rich enough to help me to fine a better life ????

I think I can see where you (OP) is coming from and I agree to an extent, but try visiting a real community in a developing country, then you'll realise how lucky we are. I'm not saying everything is perfect, but we are in a very fortunate position compared to many, many others.
Sgp is a fast moving dynamic country where it appears the government is focussed on setting us up well on the world-stage. We have over time and still are, reaping the benefits of this but its worth noting that we also need to pay/work for being able to do so.
I'm not a devoted supporter of the leadership-gang by any means, but Sgp is nothing like Iraq in terms of governance and how the 2 countries compare. We wouldn't be anywhere near where we are today if they were the same.

To Bhw33, I am a local like you, but the diference is that, among the ang mos, I FEEL I am not a third class citizen in our own country but the 1st class.. You must feel the same way as I do, when you are with the ang mos.
No doubt they are bigger in size and can lift you up with one hand grip on your throat to lift you up off the floor, and have greater fire power. But that does not matter now, as we are not at war with them.
So why now feel inferior to them? Let them muliply here. The more the merrier. The Govt. and our citizens are not going to let them take over Singapore. Singapore is our country and we must be poud to be Singaporeans. Now we must all feel great, feel superior that we are all fellow Singaporeans brothers and sisters, regardless of race ,language or religion.

the spore army imprisons its reservist army by threats of imprisonment if they dont
pass their ippt within athelete standards.some even died trying to be forced to pass according to their army standard.no cpuntry not even south korea who is at war with noth korea does it totheir own citizens.so the spore is a free country for everyone is not really true.

It is such a great conversation related to singaporean citizen,I surprise to find out that there is a citizen who feels like a slave in sgpore. Because as far i know,singaporean lives much wealthier than neighbour countries.There are a lot of malls,buildings,events,and shopping centre with a beautiful and great adds,
Actually, I just saw in sthat during this june there are great sale there.Based on that, I still believe that singaporean people is happy to live in singapore and love shopping too..

To Bhw33, thanks for your 10 tips regarding how to treat the 'Red Hair'. Fortunately, I have no reasons at the present to declare my personal war against any of them. But should they step on my toes to bully me as an asian or Singaporean, then I will show them no mercy, like giving them a slap on their face to let them know we asians cannot be makan so easily.
