NATIONAL Solidarity Party's Marine Parade team went on a thank-you walkabout in Serangoon and Macpherson on Sunday afternoon.
The star of the show, as usual, was 24-year-old advertising executive Nicole Seah, who was dressed in a cowl neck pink top with camel harem pants and gladiator sandals.
Her other team mates, team leader Ivan Yeo, 63, businessman Cheo Chai Chen, 60, project director Spencer Ng, 31, and warehouse assistant Abdul Salim Harun, 29, were dressed in orange T-shirts.
The group scored 43.4 per cent against the People's Action Party team led by Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong, and the afternoon walkabout was to 'express our heartfelt gratitude for the residents of Marine Parade GRC', Mr Yeo said.
Ms Seah, whose more than 90,000 'likes' on Facebook means she has surpassed Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew as the most popular Singaporean politician online, was the biggest draw during the brief event.
Supporters asked to take a photograph with her, while other well-wishers told her that she should contest in a single seat ward in the next election.
Damn, she was at Nex yesterday, I should have been there too, if I was not busy with WoW.
If I see her, I would definitely walk up to her, shake her hands and thank her for her efforts in trying to change the political landscape.
She has the compassionate factor.
not just a compassionate heart but also a passionate mind for questioning.
Her epic 3 questions to PM Lee

Its in yesterday's papers.
I dont really sway by the popularity of her facebooks or her fans.
What matter most is whether she can perform, she can connect to the ground and whether she can help the residents and gain known to them in the next 5 years piror to the next ge.
But the problem is that the nsp is too small to garnish any real fight against the pap. What wp achieve is commendable and be a learning tools for other opposition parties.
If she really wanted to have her voice hear in the parliament, I suggest she join WP. If not, she will be living in the shadow of nsp as long as nsp survive.
Wrong, if she wanted a voice in parliament, she should join the PAP.
I dont think she will want to join pap, but if Lily neo want her as her student, that will be a good opportunity to miss. Not easy to join pap though if you have no connection with them.

what so difficult to have connections with PAP. Go to the CC , volunteer with the grassroot activities or With Nicole's degree go and study in the Civil Service College.
So easy. But does Nicole want to be part of the PAP cronies ?
WP has sunk its roots for 20 years.
NSP is new player but i believe they recruit credible people like Tan Jee Say, Nicole, Dr Vincent , Dr Ang, they just need to hang around for longer and they will soon have a seat in the Parliament.
PAP is the easiest to get in, join your block's grassroots, make yourself prominent, one fine day, PAP invite you to tea.
