THREE Singaporeans were caught in a terrifying car chase during an attack by a mob in Johor Baru.
They were pursued for 7km by 15 to 20 people after a dispute at a carpark, one of the men told The Straits Times yesterday.
The attack continued even when they reached the Malaysian Customs building, where the mob smashed their car's windows with a steering lock and ripped its seats.
The men had gone to the ferry terminal at Stulang Laut for drinks on Sunday. They were leaving the carpark at 3am when the trouble started.
Mr Shaun Tan, one of the men, said: 'There was only one lane out of the carpark, so many cars were trying to get into it. Half of our car was in the lane when a red car beside us started honking at us.'
Mr Tan, 29, said they were unable to reverse, so they ignored the red car. Shortly afterwards, a man at the gate of the ferry terminal tried to stop their car from leaving the compound. 'We thought it was the police, so we stopped and my friend who was driving rolled down his window,' he added.
咦。。。。。没有下文。。。。。?
Bottom line:
Driving a SG-licence plate car up north is synonymous with 'come and attack me'.
For Malaysian police, such a car is synonymous with 'come ask me for kopi money'.
pls la, want to go people's place, just give way lor.
else, kanna, don't come back and complain la.
at the very least, they are still united against "outsiders", unlike us...
Mafia War live in action
Better dont drive in....you will be targeted.
Or even better still...dont go there.
Hmm
A good strategy
is to populate JB with more & more SG people

If you are the only Singaporean that goes there, you have a 100% chance of being mugged.
But if you go in with 100 Singaporeans, what are the chances that you will be the one mugged. If you go in with 10,000?
So like the fishes, there is safety in numbers. That’s why the government don’t encourage boycott of JB, but encourage more to go in. More go in, only the suay ones get mugged, the rest are safe and can have their fun in cowboy town.
The convoy strategy is flawed.
'Safety in numbers' counts for nuts when corrupt Malaysian police is involved.
If anything, a convoy of Singapore cars is manna from heaven for them.
After all, one Singapore car = RM50 kopi money. Ten Singapore cars = RM500 kopi money.
