In TS article, the flag was hung not in China but here in a Singapore Kopitiam and it was not for a sporting event.
There was a screening of the said event in Singapore, at the venue where the flag was hung. Go and find the advertisement for it in Saturday's papers.

My point is that law does not interpret event as the lay person sees fit.
The same act or event happening in diff situations and conditions can be interpreted differently under the law.
Given that the flag was hung for a sporting even - ok but it is another thing if left hanging thereafter - this my point.

Was just about to say that.I think any flag is ok as long as it is not the Malaysian flag.

PAP must be voted out in next month's elections for turning Singapore into land of aliens.
All sorts of rubbish from this worthless PAP.
I noticed that PAP in their pre-elections propaganda did not dare to face the issue of entire island being turned into land of aliens.
PAP has never been sincere, never been honest, never been frank, never wanted to debate on this issue.
The opposition must squeeze PAP until they die from this issue during elections.

All politicians are born to be sincere, honest ,frank......etc.only at the right time and place. We are all fed up to see the same actors in the same wayang so must give new aspiring actors the chance play their role in politics as well.
Freedom of choice.
