I LIVE in Gangsa Road, Bukit Panjang. For the last three months, noise from motorcycles racing between midnight and 3am has kept my family, including two schoolgoing children, awake.
The group of about four to five men gather around midnight, occasionally on weekdays and regularly on weekends, to chat and take turns to joyride in front of Fajar Secondary School.
I have called the police, left a message with the Traffic Police and written to the Land Transport Authority (LTA). Only the LTA called to say that it will check on the matter, but it will take action only if illegal motorcycle modifications are involved.
