THREE Filipinos were charged in court on Wednesday with stealing jewellery worth $11,195 from a shop in Tampines.
Valbarez Fidel Iv Martelino, 56, Banal Eduardo Cruz, 62, and Balajadia Porfirio Leabres, 54, are accused of stealing an $11,000 diamond bracelet and a pair of gold earrings worth $195 at Valuemax Retail at Block 513 Tampines Central 1 on March 26.
They were remanded at Bedok police division for a week as they are believed to be involved in similar cases.
The case will come up for mention on April 13.
If convicted of theft, each can be jailed for up to seven years and fined.
