i think i'll pay more to eat the normal delicious unhealthy original hawker fare because i watch what i eat...
i want food to be delicious, not some kind of "healthier" version which actually isn't and tastes like crap..
if people don't know how to moderate their intake and eat properly, don't fukken blame the hawkers

Recently I went to Mr Bean, order soya bean asking for sui dai. The counter girl asked me how much sui dai you want. Sort of confusing by her remarks. She pointed out a notice: 25%, 50%, 75% or 100% sui dai. Oic.....

who is my sbst?
Last night watching the cna saying it is only for 6 months. After 6 months, they never know. Either increase or stay put. Hopefully stay put.
Govt should do more to help the pple (stall holders and customers) by lowering down the rental, electricity and water bills. So that inflation will keep in tact.
Even if govt help out by lowering overheads, you think stallholders want to bring down their prices? No way! Even I wouldn't do it, got chance to make more $$$ who don't want?

That is the cause of the problem, price increases making pple unwilling to eat out often. They are killing themselves in short run...funny is that over time....customers will be back to patronise the stall again even the price increase. No choice, must eat lah.
Agreed with you that even govt went all out to help the stall holders, they will take this advantage to see their food at a higher price....hmmmm...die die lah.
