THE body of a 50-year-old Singaporean woman was found lying in a pool of blood on Wednesday morning.
The victim, Loh Nyuk Moi, was apparently found with four stab wounds.
A man, who identified himself as the woman's brother-in-law, said the woman's body was found by her brother at 8am at her former flat on the third storey of Block 5, Yung Ping Road, in the Jurong area.
The woman used to live there, but had since moved to another flat at Kang Ching Road nearby, the man said.
He said Loh had gone missing two days ago, and that she was a cheerful person with no history of mental illness.
At present, it is not known what the woman was doing in the flat. The Straits Times is on the scene now for more reports.
