The staff serving me at the retail store is from Myanmar.

Korea, Japan don't even bother to put any other language , people still enjoy touring the countries. Do you see people complaining to the Koreans and the Japanese to use English in their country?
Use sign language if you can't speak the language. Even Chinese have difficulty understanding the different accents of China Nationals but body language is international one what.
Mynmar, India Nationals, China Nationals, Philippinos are still way behind the number of Malaysians in Singapore.
Just that we are immune to our closest neighbour since they have been in Singapore for so long, soon we will be the same with the other countries.
I think Malaysians becoming PRs in Singapore have a long history and sometimes you can tell they are from Malaysia from the way they speak and behave. Yet nobody remember to mention Malaysians as FTs. (the original and earliest FT in Singapore).
