Now the Malaysians and M PRs are very unhappy with the China Nationals coming here to take up the employment pie from them.
Malaysians and M PRs have built so many landed houses back home from working here. Now it is the turn of Burmese, Mynmar, China, Thailand etc. China they dislike because China are also Chinese like them. More competition.
So many other nationalities are benefitting from the strong Spore $ here but not the average Singaporeans. We lose to exchange rate, we lose to the expensive costs of living in our own country and we lose to inflation. Other nationalities smiling wide.

Our jobs are losing to foreigners....there's nothing we can do to stop the influx of foreign labour....
Indeed, local talent is facing intense salary competition from developing countries as the government is opening up more and more sectors to foreigners.
well i guess soon Singaporeans will be going to China to work.
There will be Singaporeans maids and Singaporean brides as foreign brides.
Within a generation after thousands of maids and healthcare workers 'exported' from pinoyland to SG, many of their dependents now grew up and having educated at a much lower cost base are coming to SG as a second wave to grab jobs.

Is it becos of cheaper labour or is it becos of not enough talents? One way or the other the foreigners are growing in numbers.....
Need not differentiate them anyway... One moment holding a wp permit next moment a bluc ic... They are FWs.
pinoy worked 9 years can afford to buy a studio apartment in Singapore liao.
China Nationals laggi better, all buying resale expensive flats.
Singaporeans ? only those who have their parents' flats long long time ago can still have a roof easily. The new generation i can't imagine. Will be very tough.
the Indian nationals from India just jump from Singapore to the USA. That's their dreamland.

this one i can really say.. a lot of malaysians complaining.. they have been replaced by cheaper foreigners...
some of them are actually moving back to malaysia to look for a job.. as the rental here is getting too high, making it unattractive for them to work here. even if paid more, end up paying more for transport/food/rental of room.... end up getting lesser than back in malaysia....
