According to a recent newspaper article, there’s a 22-year-old undergraduate in Singapore who already owns properties and luxury cars worth more than S$5 million.
Only known as Ah Long, it’s understood that his parents bought him two condo units valued at S$2.2 million. He had earlier owned a S$2.2 million three-storey landed property, which was purchased in 2007.
His parents also bought him a Mercedes Benz worth S$320,000 when he got his driving license.
“They later bought me another Mercedes Benz worth S$400,000,” he said. He also has a Honda car, which he uses to bring his dog for its grooming sessions.
According to the article, his father owns a legal firm and has several investments in China, while his Chinese national mother still works as a senior engineer.
Ah Long, who has a passion for pens and handphones, has purchased at least eight handphones over the last three years, with the most expensive being a Nokia Vertu worth S$12,000.
He also bought six Montblanc pens worth between S$600 and S$2,000.
According to Ah Long, he wants to be a “frontliner” in a hotel, and would “love to experience different things.”
He also gives S$200 in monthly donations to a children’s foundation and several charitable organisations.

a lot of millionaires in sg are the professionals like lawyers, doctors etc. The ultimate millionaire is one who makes his $$ with his guts and business ideas. You know the kind who starts with roadside stalls and then makes the big time. There're plenty of such people in indonesia and they have my respect.
