The problem is that the Education officers, ie his teachers did not dare to write the truth in his testimonial. Possbly because had to ' cover up' so some people would look good, get his fat performance bonus. Note this was in 2002, before the current Principal took office.

My personal impression of him was that he is very direct, loud, honest and, to some extent, overbearing. His results were constantly good and he was talented in the humanities.
From what I know, he enjoys the humanities subjects very much- both learning and teaching. He was someone who could have contributed a lot to society. And no, in case you are thinking, I don't think he took on teaching to get close to children or anything like that.
I would argue that he does not deserve the monster tags that everyone has thrown at him. Perhaps a regular person who has an extremely weird and dangerous fetish that got totally out of hand. I feel sorry for his parents, close friends and his ex-teachers (some of whom taught me too). At this stage, any pity for him is moot.
