TWO men, aged 30 and 35, have been arrested in connection with a loanshark harassment case where a car was set on fire.
The incident occurred at a Choa Chu Kang North 5 multi-storey carpark on Oct 13.
The 35-year-old Singaporean suspect was caught at Compassvale Street on Friday. The police caught his 30-year-old accomplice, also Singaporean, in Hougang today.
Preliminary investigations revealed that both suspects were working for an unlicensed moneylending syndicate and believed to be responsible for the fire at the Choa Chu Kang carpark.
Both suspects may also be involved in several other loanshark harassment cases islandwide.
