Thanks. No wonder that tong an auntie keeps telling me "chng" and I was a little blur thought it should be "chun". Prob with me is I use Mandarin most of the time to translate to hokkien if translation is needed.Is eng chng and xiamen very near to each other in China?

Save us money from watching comedy. But they still need to polish up. They are no fight with the Hollywood comedians and actors. Would be interesting to see them star in "Liar Liar" which Jim Carey acted in the Hollywood version.

I believe so. REad that some senior artistes were not happy with a lower income given in their renewed contract and they resigned. -

Ironically, old man lee stated that if US economy is not doing well it will affect Singapore. Up to date , US economy is still pretty bad so how could it be that singapore is doing fine. All in the name of money, by hook by crook must make the economy looks good. -

They have to get more somewhere.

The "Ch'un" in "Eng Ch'un" is pronounced "Ch'un" that is (Spring) --> 永春
What you are asking Clivebenss is another "Ch'ng" that is (Village) --> �
春 is never pronounced as "Ch'ng", only as "Ch'un"
Whereas � has 2 pronunciations both "Ch'ng" and "Ch'un" depending on where they are used
Therefore "Eng Ch'un" is never "Eng Ch'ng", haha
